Key trend sustainability as show opens

With the opening of the world largest trade fair for the nonwovens industry from April 19-21, 2023, in Geneva/Switzerland, innovations towards sustainable initiatives across the nonwovens sector are being presented at the Index23. Bio-based fibers, recycling and carbon emission reduction are among key trends seen at the event so far.
Of the 600 exhibitors at the exhibition, 258 are from Asia (43%) and 311 from Europe (incl. Turkey, 52%). 26 exhibitors from the USA and 3 from Africa round out the event. With 175 exhibitors, China clearly leads the exhibitor field in terms of numbers, followed by Italy (88), Germany (72) and Turkey (44 exhibitors). In total, exhibitors from 43 countries are registered.
The next edition, the Index26 will be held in Geneva/Switzerland, from April 21-24, 2026.
