André Deponte will join the management team as the new Chief Sales Officer at Herrmann Ultraschall. The new position offers Herrmann Ultraschalltechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Karlsbad/Germany, the potential to sharpen its global sales structures with a new focus. Deponte took over as head of global sales from CEO Thomas Herrmann on April 1, 2023. In future, the latter will devote more time to strategic corporate management and development.
The new CSO sees one of the most important measures for this in a global, digital networking of the Sales department. With modern tools, the worldwide teams will work even closer together in order to respond to customer inquiries quickly and purposefully. He also sees further potential for more customer excitement in a proactive after-sales sector. This should be improved, for example, by expanding the range of services.
Deponte can rely on his many years of experience as Global Sales Director of the Metals business unit, which he successfully built up at Herrmann. In addition, he already took over the management of the International Headquarters in 2022. These will remain under his responsibility in order to accelerate the global growth of the ultrasonics-welding specialist in a holistic way.
