The 37th International Cotton Conference Bremen will take place from March 20-22, 2024 in Bremen/Germany. The event will be surrounded by a complete Bremen Cotton Week with several additional cotton and textile related meetings and workshops. The conference will also include online presentations and an additional online audience.
Visitors from all over the world are expected to attend this bi-annual event. The whole cotton value chain from breeding and production, testing and trading to process¬ing, textiles and retail is represented in the conference topics. The conference visitors reflect the whole scope of the cotton world.
The Bremen conference is a unique meeting opportunity for people from all sectors of the cotton business and from all continents. The event is organized by the Fiber Institute Bremen (Faserinstitut Bremen e.V.) and the Bremen Cotton Exchange.


Interested parties are invited to submit proposals for topics and speak¬ers through the Call for Papers. Submis¬sions of original work related, but not limited, to the fol¬lowing themes are welcomed:
• Cotton overview, developments
• Cotton breeding and production in the regions, ginning
• Cotton quality and testing
• Cotton trading, commodity transportation
• Textile processing: spinning, weaving/knitting, finishing
• Innovative textile and technical cotton-based products
• Competition in the fiber market
• Developments in the textile and clothing sector
• Developments in the fashion industry/retail; con¬sumer expectations
• Sustainability in fiber and textile production, develop¬ments in legislation and legal restrictions
• Circular economy, recycling
• Transparency along the cotton value chain, traceability

Participants will have the opportunity to present their topic as a conference presentation, in a panel discussion or as a conference poster. They will also have the option to present directly at the conference or at one of the other events during the Bremen Cotton Week, which include:
• Spinners and Textile Seminar (ITMF/IVGT)
• International Committee on Cotton Testing Methods (ITMF)
• ICAC Panels as CSITC, SEEP

The deadline for submissions is August 13, 2023.
